A recommendation should be specific enough to verify.

Record the condition before the change and the acceptance check afterward. Distinguish a completed implementation from search visibility or inquiry outcomes that require later measurement.

Our process

From audit scope to a prioritized implementation handoff.

Each stage has a purpose, an owner and something useful for you to review.

    Define the audit scope

Agree page types, business priorities, platform, access and known concerns.

  2. 02

    Prioritize and hand off

Assign impact, dependencies, proposed fixes and an owner for each significant issue.

  4. 04

    Implement and verify if scoped

Review the agreed changes and record the affected public behavior after release.

Technical SEO audit services that turn findings into decisions

A technical SEO audit should help you decide what to fix, why it matters and how to confirm the result. Prominice reviews the pages and templates that matter to your business, connects findings to evidence and prepares a practical implementation sequence.

Our website SEO audit services can support an existing site, a redesign or a launch review. We agree the platform, URL coverage, access and implementation responsibilities before work begins, so you receive a usable scope rather than an unexplained list of tool warnings.

02

What you receive from the audit

A prioritized issue register

Each significant finding includes an affected URL or template, the observed behavior, supporting evidence, business impact, proposed fix and acceptance check. Where one template affects many URLs, the report identifies the shared cause and representative examples.

Priorities reflect the pages and customer journeys at risk. A blocked service page or broken inquiry path can deserve attention before a low-impact recommendation affecting an unimportant archive.

An implementation sequence and verification plan

The handoff identifies dependencies, a responsible owner and the order of work. Some changes belong in the CMS; others may require theme code, hosting configuration or a decision about content. The verification plan states what to inspect after each change.

A review of the evidence and its limits

Public crawling shows observable page behavior. Search Console, analytics and relevant platform access can add search and inquiry context. When account data is unavailable, the report states the limitation rather than presenting public estimates as your actual traffic or index coverage.

03

What we examine

Crawlability, indexability and sitemap coverage

Review HTTP responses, robots directives, redirects and the URLs included in the sitemap. Compare the intended public pages with the evidence available in Search Console. A search-engine site query is a limited observation, not a complete inventory of indexed pages.

Canonicals, duplicates and redirects

Check preferred URLs, conflicting canonicals, duplicate paths and redirect chains. Recommendations distinguish pages that should remain separate from URLs that represent the same content. Google’s canonical guidance explains how these signals work together.

Rendered content and internal links

Compare important page content and crawlable links in the initial HTML and rendered page where needed. JavaScript-dependent navigation or content requires particular attention. We use Google’s JavaScript SEO documentation to interpret rendering requirements.

Review whether service pages, supporting guides and relevant portfolio work connect naturally. Link recommendations should help a visitor reach the next useful page and give important pages a clear place in the site.

Metadata and structured data

Check titles, descriptions and heading structure for missing, duplicate or misleading output. Review structured data against the visible page and the relevant eligibility rules. A markup validation result does not guarantee a search enhancement or a ranking change.

Mobile usability and performance

Inspect representative layouts, navigation, controls and forms at agreed screen sizes. Report the distinction between a lab measurement and field data from real visits. A performance finding includes its URL and conditions; Google’s Core Web Vitals guidance provides the search context.

Inquiry storage and measurement

Where included in the scope, submit clearly marked test inquiries and verify their saved records and analytics events. Check successful submission behavior separately from invalid input or failed storage. Qualified leads require a business assessment after the form event.

See what a completed finding looks like

The following examples come from work on Prominice’s own WordPress website on September 6, 2026. They demonstrate an issue-to-fix record and verification; they are not client ranking case studies.

Finding: generic metadata on service pages

Affected example: the WordPress and CMS service page used the generic title “CMS Development - Prominice.” That description gave a buyer little platform-specific context in the title.

Change: the title became “WordPress Development & CMS Services | Prominice,” with a matching service description. Three other service pages received relevant titles and descriptions through the active SEO plugin.

Verification: public HTML contained the intended title and description, one H1 and the page’s self-referencing canonical. The check established the implementation result, not a change in Google rankings.

Finding: success responses could misrepresent inquiry delivery

Observed behavior: contact and assistant confirmations claimed an email had been sent even when delivery to a reserved test address failed. Inquiry handlers also needed to reject a zero record ID before reporting success.

Change and check: confirmations were changed to acknowledge receipt, and three handlers received failed-save checks. Local tests covered saved records, invalid input and storage failures. Marked live tests then verified stored records and the corresponding GA4 key events for all three inquiry paths.

Implementation experience behind the audit

Our portfolio includes WordPress delivery for Current Ventures, with company, service and insight content, and My Sport Live, with media, news and contact journeys. These projects provide context for our website implementation experience. The completed audit examples above use our own site so their verification can be described precisely.

06

Audit-only and implementation options

An audit-only engagement provides findings and a developer handoff. An audit with implementation adds agreed changes and post-release checks. Continued technical SEO services can cover later releases and new priorities if an ongoing scope is agreed.

A technical audit does not automatically include every content rewrite, website rebuild, penetration test or accessibility certification. Identify those needs during scoping so the right specialist and acceptance criteria can be assigned. Our CMS development service covers broader website implementation, while small business SEO support covers the ongoing search and content context.

FAQ

Common questions, answered.

Does the audit price include implementation?

Implementation is included only when the proposal says so. An audit-only scope provides findings and a handoff; a combined scope also defines the changes and verification Prominice will deliver.

Do you need Search Console access?

Search Console adds valuable search and indexing context. Public checks can begin without it, but the report will identify what remains unverified. Share access through the normal secure account interface.

Is a technical SEO audit only for WordPress?

No. The audit is scoped around the site and platform. Implementation access and responsibilities can differ across WordPress, hosted CMS platforms and custom applications.

How do you prioritize findings?

Consider the affected pages, business impact, severity, evidence and dependencies. A tool warning alone does not determine priority.

Do you measure real-user performance or lab scores?

The report labels each source. Lab tests describe a particular setup; field data describes real visits when enough data is available. The two should not be presented as interchangeable.

Will the audit guarantee indexing or rankings?

No. The audit identifies observable issues and verification steps. Search engines determine indexing and rankings, and later outcomes depend on content, competition, implementation and other factors.
